As a leading Chamber of Commerce, the MCCIA needed to process enormous amounts of data in order to grow. An inability to do so slowed down their progress and affected their decision-making. It soon became clear that if the underlying issues were not addressed, the organization may not be able to keep up with future needs.

A closer look at the issues identified the following challenges.


Lack of control over existing IT system

Given the MCCIA’s multiple interests and scattered membership base, data was stored in separate silos thus making it difficult to access and keep updated. The lack of control over the current IT system limited the use of this data for decision making and affected their growth.

Slow modernization of IT infrastructure

While the MCCIA customer base was steadily increasing, the MCCIA IT infrastructure was not enough adoptive for this data transaction growth. The data handling technique followed by the organization further slowed down data processing and reporting.

Absence of standardized format for data

There were many cases wherein records were duplicated or incorrectly updated due to differences in formats. A lack of standardization put the MCCIA at risk of losing data and disrupted the daily processes. This also affected data quality and the efficacy of decisions taken on the basis of this data.

Not conductive to database changes

MCCIA was maintaining its customer data in separate silos. As a result the database was scattered and complex. This made the process of uploading new membership details and updating existing records difficult. In addition the complex database architecture also made the edits unpredictable.

Bynry looked into the MCCIA’s existing data and infrastructure and their future requirements and analyzed them to produce design specific solutions. A new website based on Python and AWS was developed to accommodate MCCIA’s growing needs. In addition, the data processing techniques were also updated for quicker processing and updating.

Bynry gone through a thorough analysis of requirements and existing complexitiies and adopted agile methodology to execute projects, prioritize requirements and manage data complexities. With Bynry’s help. MCCIA was able to update the way it stored and processed data.

Building a new Platform

Bynry designed and developed a new website for the MCCIA based on Python and AWS. The new platform is flexible and can accommodate MCCIA’s growing needs. Easy navigation and attractive visualization encouraged members to interact with the website and take advantage of the organization’s initiatives and offerings.

On-site maintenance and support

In addition to developing the platform, Bynry deployed on-site maintenance and support. This led to quicker resolution of tech issues and made data processing smoother. Custom solutions were made tailored to specific needs to improve efficiency and performance.

Data migration to the Cloud

Bynry used AWS to transfer and integrate data stored in multiple silos to a single cloud.
