Can we start with SMART Billing and upgrade later?
Our pricing is based on the total number of active service connections your utility manages. This includes water, electric, gas, or wastewater connections. We count each service point as one connection, even if a single customer has multiple services.
Do you charge per user?
No, our standard implementation is included in the subscription price for all plans. We offer premium implementation services for complex migrations or custom integrations at an additional cost, but these are optional.
How are integrations priced (standard vs additional)?
Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time. Downgrades are also possible at the end of your billing cycle. We'll work with you to ensure a smooth transition between plans with no service interruption.
How long does it take to deploy the software?
If your utility grows and exceeds your plan's connection count, we'll automatically adjust your billing for the additional connections at your current rate. We'll notify you if you're approaching a tier where a different plan might be more cost-effective.
How long does it take to deploy the software?
Yes, we offer multi-year contracts with additional savings. Two-year contracts receive an additional 5% discount, and three-year contracts receive an additional 10% discount beyond the annual billing savings.
How long does it take to deploy the software?
Basic data migration is included in all plans. The Professional and Enterprise plans include more comprehensive data migration services. Complex migrations from legacy systems may require additional services, which we can quote separately.

All system updates are included in your subscription at no additional cost. The Essential plan receives quarterly updates, while Professional and Enterprise plans receive monthly updates. Critical security updates are deployed to all customers immediately.
